Therapy is actually working?
Started seeing a therapist 6 weeks ago because my anxiety was out of control. I was skeptical as hell but my wife pushed me to try it. Been working on breathing exercises and actually identifying what triggers my anxiety. Feels weird talking to a stranger about this but something shifted. Just wanted to share in case someone else is on the fence about trying it. Doesn't fix everything overnight but it's helping.
Seriously considering this after my wife mentioned my anxiety is affecting the whole household. What made you finally take the step? Was there a breaking point or just got tired of feeling that way?
