Therapy is working but it feels weird to talk about feelings
Been going to therapy for 3 months and the therapist is actually really good and Im making progress on my anxiety. But I still feel awkward talking about my feelings out loud. Like I know it works but theres this voice in my head saying real men dont do this. Im trying to ignore that voice but its hard. Has anyone else dealt with this mental block around therapy as a guy?
That awkward feeling is totally normal man. Three months in and you're already making progress, which means it's working even if it feels strange. Keep pushing through that discomfort because that's where the real growth happens.
