Tried medication for the first time and I actually feel... normal?
Been putting this off for literally 3 years. My doctor prescribed me sertraline for anxiety and I was scared it would make me a zombie or something. Started it 6 weeks ago. Honestly? I can sit through my kid's soccer games without doing a mental inventory of every conversation I've had in the last decade. Don't feel "high" or anything, just... present? Anyway if anyone's on the fence about medication, wanted to share that it can actually work.
That's awesome man. Three years of hesitation and then you finally take the leap. How long did it take before you noticed the difference? I'm nervous it might take weeks.
How is it affecting you at work? I'm considering trying this stuff but I worry about side effects messing with my job performance.
