12 week old won't sleep unless held
My daughter is almost 3 months old and she will not go down for naps unless one of us is holding her. We've tried the bassinet, the crib, even contact naps on the bed and she wakes up the second we put her down. Nights are actually fine, she'll sleep in her crib for stretches. It's just the daytime naps that are killing us. I've read all the sleep training stuff but 12 weeks seems too young. Are we just in a phase or are we doing something wrong?
Have you tried white noise? We had good luck with that. Also a dark room makes a huge difference. And honestly sometimes you just gotta accept the holds for a bit. It's temporary even though it feels eternal when you're in it.
