So my son has been taking bottles fine since he was born but literally overnight he's rejecting them. He'll cry, push the bottle away, the whole thing. My wife is going back to work next week and we're freaking out a little. We've tried different nipple sizes, warming the bottle, different positions. Has anyone dealt with this? Does he just need a few days to adjust or is something wrong?
This happened to us around the same age. Turned out our son just wanted mom's milk and we had to be creative with feeding times. Have you tried different bottle nipple styles? Sometimes they're picky about the flow.
Is he maybe teething or have anything else going on? My daughter did something similar and it turned out she just wanted to eat more solids. Could also be the bottle temperature or even just him being over it for a bit.
That's rough. Try a different bottle style or nipple flow if you haven't already - sometimes they get particular about that stuff. And yeah, could just be a phase. Hang in there.

Overnight changes like this are usually a phase. Could be teething, could be he wants mom, could be he's just being a baby and being weird about it. Keep offering it calmly and don't stress too much. They figure it out.

The teething stage can cause this too. If his gums are bothering him, he might not want the bottle pressure. A few days of it shouldn't panic you but if it lasts more than a week definitely check with the pediatrician.
