Anyone else feel like their partner gets it more naturally?

My son is almost 3 months old and I swear my girlfriend just KNOWS what he needs. Like she'll look at him and immediately know if he's tired or hungry or just wants to be held. I'm over here reading his cries like they're written in ancient hieroglyphics. I feel like I'm always one step behind. She keeps telling me I'm doing fine but I don't know man. When does that intuition kick in? Or is it just not gonna happen for me?
