Anyone else's baby hate tummy time?

My 4 month old absolutely loses it during tummy time. We've tried 2-3 minutes a few times a day like the doctors say but she just screams the whole time. I feel like we're torturing her. Our pediatrician says she needs it for development but we're wondering if we can do shorter sessions more frequently or if there are alternatives. What worked for your kids?
