Baby gear that actually proved worth it

Got a lot of unsolicited advice about gear before our daughter was born in November. Most of it was garbage. But these things have genuinely made life easier:

• Owlet sock (peace of mind, worth every penny)
• Haaka (partner caught like 5oz extra while nursing)
• Diaper genie (yes really, smell thing is real)
• That stretchy wrap thing for going hands-free

Didn't need: fancy stroller, all the swaddles, the guided meditation app for babies (lol)
