My guy slept for like 7 hours straight last night and I actually panicked. I know parents are supposed to want their kids to sleep but I was worried something was wrong. He seems fine, eating normal amounts during the day. Do I need to wake him up to maintain feeding schedule or just let him sleep? First time parent paranoia is real lol
That panic is so real even though logically you know he's fine. My newborn did a 6 hour stretch at 5 weeks and I was checking if he was breathing every 30 seconds. Babies are weird man.
Honestly I'd just call your pediatrician about it to settle your mind. Every baby is different but most docs will say if he's healthy and putting on weight then sleep is sleep. Better question than stressing about it alone.
