Baby started smiling at us and I've never felt anything like it

She's 6 weeks and this morning she gave us a huge gummy smile and I literally teared up. My wife caught me getting emotional about it which made it worse. I know it's probably just gas or whatever but I don't even care. This little person is amazing and I can't believe she's mine. Being a dad is wild.

Dude same. When my daughter first smiled at me I called my mom immediately. It's like a switch flips and you understand everything.
