Baby won't sleep unless he's being held
My son is 6 weeks old and I've read that he should be napping independently but literally the second I put him down he loses it. My wife is exhausted and we're both running on fumes. Is this normal or are we doing something wrong? Every parenting site says something different. Should we just accept the contact naps for now or are we creating bad habits?
Man, 6 weeks is still so early. My son did the same thing and honestly we just held him a lot those first couple months because that's what he needed. The independent sleeping stuff comes later, not at 6 weeks.
