Baby won't sleep unless held and I'm losing it

Every time I put my daughter down she cries. I've tried bassinet, crib, different positions, white noise, everything. The only way she sleeps is if I'm holding her. I love her but I also need to sleep and my wife needs help. Pediatrician says it's normal but is there anything that actually helped for you guys? Can't live like this for months.

That contact nap phase is exhausting, I know. With my daughter, it finally clicked that she just needed to feel safe close to me. It gets easier as she grows and you'll miss those days.

Sounds rough, but you're doing exactly what she needs right now. Some babies are just contact sleepers and that's normal. You're not losing it, you're being a good dad.
