Baby won't stop crying after feeding

First time dad here. We feed our 3 week old daughter and she gets the hiccups or something and then just cries for like 20 minutes no matter what we do. Tried burping her, different positions, white noise, dimmed lights. We're not sure if it's colic, gas, or if we're just doing something wrong. This is stressing me out more than I'd like to admit. Has anyone dealt with this?

The hiccups thing is super common at that age. We dealt with the same crying spell after feeds and found that keeping her upright for like 20-30 minutes after really helped. Might be worth trying.

Three weeks in and you're already paying attention to the patterns, that's good parenting. Sometimes it's just gas or hiccups and there's not much to do except ride it out. You're doing great.
