My wife needs a break and we've been trying to introduce a bottle for a week now. Our son just screams and refuses it completely. We tried different nipple types and even warming it up. This is exactly why I keep backup supplies ready for every scenario. My suggestion: try bottle feeding when he's not starving mad, maybe during a calm afternoon. Desperation makes everything harder.
Took us a solid two weeks with our second before he'd even consider a bottle. The trick that finally worked was having my wife leave the room completely so he didn't smell her milk. Hang in there, it clicks eventually.
Have you tried warming the bottle to body temperature? Sometimes it's just too cold compared to what he's used to. Also experiment with different nipple flows if you haven't already.

Juice box logistics officer here. Try the bottle at different times of day, not when he's starving. Sometimes they do better if mom leaves the room too. And experiment with bottle shapes - some kids hate the traditional ones.

Two under two so I've done this twice and honestly some babies just hate bottles at first. Try warming the milk a bit more and letting him lead instead of forcing it. Also sometimes a different person has better luck than the mom.
