Best: The Snoo. Worth every penny. Our 2-month-old actually sleeps in it and my wife could shower without me panicking.
Worst: Those fancy blackout curtains we bought for the nursery. We don't even use the nursery yet because baby sleeps in our room. Total waste of $200.

We borrowed one from a friend for two months instead of buying and honestly I'm glad we did. Worked great for us but definitely not everyone needs it. Sounds like it's been a game changer for your family though.
The Snoo converts to a regular bassinet too so you get some longevity out of it. Not just a 4 month purchase. That part helped justify the cost for us.
The Snoo is expensive but if it actually lets your wife shower and sleep I guess you're buying peace of mind. Did you have bad sleep before you got it?

Hard agree on the Snoo. People act like you're crazy for spending that much but they don't realize what sleep deprivation actually costs. Worth every penny if it works.
