Blowout diaper while traveling. What a day.

So there I was at my parents house with my 6 week old daughter and she has a poop explosion that goes up her back, through her outfit, into the carrier, everywhere. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I had poop on my shoes. And of course I only packed like 3 outfits because I'm an idiot. Pro tip for new dads: pack double the diapers and clothes you think you need. Also buy the Pampers Swaddlers, the cheaper ones are garbage.

Oh man I've been there. Poop explosions while traveling are a special kind of nightmare. Did it get on the clothes or did you get lucky and catch it in time?

The travel blowout is a rite of passage. We had ours at a restaurant parking lot. Thank god we had extra clothes in the car. Your parents probably have a story about it now too.

Dude I'm at 6 weeks too and honestly I'm just waiting for this to happen to me. Every time my daughter has a diaper I'm like is this the one. Your story is both funny and terrifying.
