Bottle feeding question - am I doing this right?
Our daughter is 6 weeks and we're doing combination feeding. When I give her a bottle, she seems way more content than when my wife breastfeeds. I'm worried my wife thinks I'm taking over or something but I genuinely want to help. Also how do I know if she's getting enough? She seems to drink the whole 4oz bottle pretty quick. Should we be doing more?
At 6 weeks you're doing great if she's eating and gaining weight. The pace thing is totally normal - bottle feeding is usually faster than breast because gravity does the work. As long as she's not spitting up a ton afterward, I wouldn't worry too much. How much is she taking per feeding?
