Bottle feeding vs breast feeding - real talk

Wife had to go back to work and we switched to bottles. I was worried about bonding but honestly getting to feed my daughter myself has been amazing. I get those quiet 3am moments with her that I wasn't getting before. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about however you feed your kid. Fed is best and all that, but the bonding part? That's on you to make happen.

Man, I was so anxious about this too when we first switched. But you're right, the bonding happens in a million different ways. I actually got some of my best one-on-one time with my daughter during bottle feeds. Just you and her, you know?

Bottle feeding has been a lifesaver for us with the co-parenting situation. My kids get fed well in both homes and honestly that's what matters. The bonding is real regardless of how the milk gets there.
