Bottle feeding vs breast feeding timeline question

My wife is pumping and we're doing a mix of bottle and breast. Curious when other guys noticed their babies actually sleeping longer stretches between feeds? Right now it feels like we feed every 2-3 hours and my wife is exhausted. Also when can I expect to actually take a full shift at night so she can sleep more than 2 hours straight? We're at 6 weeks now.
