Bottle feeding vs breastfeeding dilemma

Baby's on the way in about 6 weeks and my wife and I are trying to figure out feeding. She wants to try breastfeeding but also wants me to be able to help with feedings at night. I told her pumping and bottles might be good so we can share the load but she's worried about nipple confusion or whatever. Anyone else deal with this? What worked for you guys?

We did combo feeding and it worked great - my wife breastfed but I could jump in with bottles so she could get some rest. Best of both worlds honestly, and your baby gets used to the bottle early which is clutch.

Man, with three kids I've seen every combo work. The key is just picking what feels right for your family and not stressing too much about it. You're gonna figure it out together, congrats on the baby coming!

I'm literally in this exact spot right now with my 6-month-old and we pump so I can do some feedings - total game changer for bonding and letting my wife actually sleep more than 2 hours. Definitely something to look into!
