Breakthrough - the wake window thing actually worked
Update from my last post: So I was stressed about our 9-week-old's erratic sleep and someone in here suggested paying attention to wake windows instead of just trying to feed/soothe on demand. Looked it up, apparently newborns at that age should only be up like 45min-1hr max. We were letting ours stay up for 2+ hours wondering why she was a gremlin at night.
Implemented the wake window thing 3 days ago and she's actually... sleeping? Like multiple 2-3 hour stretches at night? Still getting up twice (which is normal for her age) but it's SO much better. Not trying to be that guy but this actually works. Thanks to whoever mentioned it.
Glad it worked for you! We're at 11 weeks now and still figuring out the wake windows. Did you find the times change as he got older or did you stick with the same general windows?
