Can we talk about how expensive formula is right now?

We've been doing combo feeding with breast and formula and holy crap the cost is insane. We switched to a different brand that the pediatrician recommended for reflux and our grocery bill jumped like $100 a month. I don't want to cheap out on my son's nutrition but also these prices are brutal. Are other dads dealing with this? Any tips on where to get better deals without compromising quality?

It's insane. I'm two months in and already sticker shocked every time I buy formula. The combo feeding approach is smart though. At least you're getting some relief from breastfeeding costs. Trying to figure out if there's some hack I'm missing here.

Yeah, combo feeding helped us manage costs too but honestly the formula bill was still brutal those first months. Once my daughter started solids around 5-6 months, things got a bit easier financially. Hang in there, it does get better.

Yeah the cost is wild. We went through a bunch of different brands trying to find what worked and what we could actually afford. Hang in there, you're doing the right thing by combo feeding if it works for your family.

Formula prices are absolutely wild right now. We've been struggling with the same thing. Have you looked into the store brands? They're the same stuff, just cheaper. Also, check if you qualify for WIC or any assistance programs. No shame in using them if you need help.

Two under two and we're running through formula like crazy. Costco membership paid for itself in the first month just from formula savings. Might be worth looking into if you don't have one already.
