Changed my first diaper - didn't go as bad as I thought

Honestly expected it to be way grosser than it actually was. My daughter is 4 days old and I've already gotten the hang of the whole diaper situation. Wipes, fold it up, new diaper, done. My wife was shocked I offered to do night changes but honestly I want to help and I'm awake anyway since I keep checking if the baby is breathing.

Welcome to the club! The first one is always the biggest mental hurdle. Wait until you have your first blowout diaper situation and you'll realize you're basically a ninja now.

Four days in and you're already leveling up. Just wait until diaper changes become second nature and you can do them in the dark at 3am half asleep.

Right?? Everyone makes it sound like the apocalypse but it's honestly not that bad. Your daughter is lucky to have a dad jumping in like this from day one.
