Diaper blowout disaster at the grocery store

I'm not exaggerating when I say poop went up to her neck. I was alone with the baby and had no extra outfit in the diaper bag. Ended up buying a onesie in the baby section to change her into. Lesson learned: pack like you're going to war. Also my mom's not wrong about keeping extra clothes everywhere.

Oh man, the grocery store blowout is a rite of passage. I had one at Whole Foods with my daughter and there's literally nothing you can do but laugh at the situation. At least you learned to pack those extra outfits.

This is why I always overpacked the diaper bag with my newborns. Wipes, extra outfit, plastic bag for the soiled stuff. Your baby is yours, not a puzzle you need to solve perfectly in public.

Up to the neck is rough. Did you end up leaving your cart and just heading home? I've abandoned full carts for less. The diaper bag needs at least two outfits after you learn this lesson once.
