Diaper blowouts while out - what do I do with dirty clothes?

Was at the grocery store with my 3 month old yesterday and got absolutely destroyed. Poop up his back, down his legs, on my shirt. I have no idea how something that small produces that much. Didn't bring a change of clothes because I'm an idiot. Ended up sitting in the car for 20 minutes trying to clean it up with wet wipes. What's everyone's go-to solution for this? Zip lock bag in the diaper bag?

3 months old and you're already discovering the joys of poop explosions lol. Pro tip: keep some baby wipes and a change of clothes in your car too, not just the diaper bag. And honestly a lot of us just accept that some outfits are done for the day.

Oh man, the grocery store blowout is a rite of passage. I keep a full change of clothes plus extras in my diaper bag now after learning that lesson the hard way. For the dirty clothes, I just throw them in a plastic grocery bag and seal it up. Then when I get home I rinse them out in the sink before tossing in the wash.

The real question is did you get poop on yourself? Because that's the real test haha. I'd say just rinse them at home and wash separately, but honestly at 3 months you're gonna go through enough laundry anyway that it might not even matter.
