Did I mess up the diaper change or is this normal?

First time changing my daughter solo and I think I got it wrong. The diaper seemed loose on one side but when I tightened it she cried more. Also I wasn't sure which way the tabs go and I might've put them on backwards? She seems fine now and isn't leaking, so maybe I got lucky. Going to watch a YouTube video before the next change though because this is harder than it looks.

First solo diaper change nerves are real but you're already learning. If she cried from tightening it, looser is usually better anyway. You're gonna mess up and that's totally normal.

Man the fact that you're thinking about whether you did it right means you're already being a good dad. A few loose diapers never hurt anybody. You got this.
