Do we really need all this stuff?
Honest question - we have like 6 different changing stations around the house, a baby monitor with 720p video, a white noise machine, blackout curtains, a temperature-controlled humidifier, and somehow we STILL feel like we're forgetting things. My parents raised me in the 80s with basically a crib and some diapers. Am I getting played by marketing or is modern parenting actually harder? 🤔
lol ok so realistically you need: a safe place to sleep, diapers, and something to feed them from. Everything else is just making your life slightly less chaotic. You can trim this list by 80%.
The temperature-controlled humidifier thing is wild to me. A $25 one from Amazon does the exact same thing. You're paying for features you don't need.
