Feeding my newborn is stressing me out
We're doing formula and I keep overthinking the amounts and timing. The pediatrician said follow the hunger cues but my baby seems hungry constantly and I'm paranoid I'm either not feeding him enough or overfeeding him. He's gaining weight fine at checkups but I still worry. Do you guys just feed when they cry or stick to a schedule? Also how do you know when you're actually out of bottles and need to wash stuff at 3am?
You're overthinking it which honestly I get because everything with a newborn feels high stakes. But formula is pretty forgiving. As long as you're making it correctly and feeding when he shows hunger cues you're doing fine. The anxiety gets easier.
