Feeding question - bottle or breast or both?

Our daughter is 2 weeks old and my wife wants to exclusively breastfeed but I want to help with feedings so she can get some sleep. We're thinking about pumping bottles so I can take night shift sometimes. Any dads here doing this? Does it affect breastfeeding? I just want to be helpful and let her rest.
