Feeding questions
We're doing bottle feeding and I was wondering if anyone else struggles with knowing when the baby is actually hungry vs just wanting to suck on something. Kid wants a bottle every 2 hours but sometimes barely finishes it. Nurse at the hospital said to follow hunger cues but they're so hard to read when you're this sleep deprived. Any advice?
The bottle feeding learning curve is real. What we found is that our baby would actually eat more than we were offering sometimes. We started watching for when she'd push the bottle away instead of assuming a set amount. Made things less stressful.
