Finally got baby to latch properly and I'm stupidly emotional about it
We've been struggling with breastfeeding for about 2 weeks. Baby girl kept getting frustrated, my wife was getting sore, it was rough. Today the lactation consultant came by and after like 20 minutes of adjustments something just clicked. Watched my daughter feed properly for the first time and I literally teared up. Such a small thing but it felt huge. Just needed to share this with people who would get it.
Being emotional about that is completely normal and honestly beautiful. After four kids, I can tell you that struggling together and then getting that win as a team is something special. Props to you both.
