First laugh at 4 months and I'm not okay
My daughter genuinely laughed today - not a gas giggle but an actual belly laugh - because I was making stupid faces at her. And I'm sitting here like an idiot tearing up. My wife walked in and was like "are you crying?" and I couldn't even explain. That was it. That's the moment I understood why everyone says parenthood hits different. Nothing compares to this.
Man that's the stuff they don't tell you about. Those moments hit way different than you expect. Welcome to the club of dads who cry more now lol.
Wait until she recognizes you specifically and smiles just for you. That's the moment dads become absolute mush. 100% normal response.
