First night home from hospital solo with baby
Wife finally dozed off around 2am and I'm sitting here watching my son sleep thinking I have no idea what I'm doing. Every little sound he makes freaks me out. I keep checking to make sure he's breathing. How do you not be terrified all the time? Watched like five YouTube videos already and I'm still paranoid.
First night is rough but remember the hospital literally cleared you to take him home, which means they think you can handle it. Trust that. And if you're really panicking, there are 24/7 nurse lines you can call.
