First night home with newborn and I have no idea what I'm doing

Wife finally fell asleep. Baby has been crying on and off for like 3 hours. I've changed his diaper twice, tried feeding him but he won't latch on the bottle, and honestly I'm starting to panic. Is this normal? Does every cry mean something is wrong? Also my son is covered in like 5 different bodily fluids right now and I'm too scared to bathe him. When does this get easier?
