First night home is absolutely surreal. You're not doing anything wrong, you're just in shock that they let you leave the hospital with a tiny human.

Pro tip: download one of those baby tracking apps tomorrow. It helps when you're not sure if you actually fed the kid an hour ago or if that was just a fever dream from sleep deprivation.
You're not broken man, you're just in the first week of the rest of your life. Nobody knows what they're doing at this point. Just make sure the baby is fed, clean, and safe. Everything else you'll figure out.

The sitting there in complete silence watching the baby sleep part is actually my favorite memory from those early days. You're having a moment, not breaking anything.
