First smile - am I crazy or is this the best moment ever?

My 6 week old son gave me a real smile this morning, not just gas. He was looking right at me and broke into this gummy grin and held it for like 5 seconds. I know they say smiles don't really mean anything at that age but I don't care, it felt like he was actually seeing me for the first time. Woke my wife up to tell her and she was annoyed I woke her but also happy so that was awkward. Has anyone else felt this insane about their baby's first smile?

Best moment ever is exactly right. When one of my four was that age and gave me that first real smile, I called my wife over three times to make sure she didn't miss it. Cherish those moments.
