First smile at 6 weeks - absolutely worth it
Guys I just had to share this. My daughter smiled at me this morning for the first time and it wasn't gas. It was a real smile directed right at me. I literally teared up. All the sleepless nights, the stress about doing everything right, the worry that I wasn't bonding with her properly - it all just clicked in that moment. She knows who I am. She was happy to see me. That's the coolest thing I've ever experienced.
It really is worth it. All the sleepless nights stop mattering the second they smile at you like that. Savor it because the next thing you know they're rolling over, then crawling, then walking. It goes fast.
