First smile happened today

I know the books say it's probably just gas but my 6 week old daughter smiled at me while I was changing her diaper this morning and man, I felt like I won the lottery. My wife thinks I'm crazy for being so excited but this made all the sleepless nights feel worth it for a second. Wanted to share because I'm riding this high.

Dude that's the best feeling in the world. Forget what the books say, that was her recognizing you and loving you. I remember my daughter's first real smile and it wrecked me in the best way possible.
