My daughter is 6 weeks old and this morning she smiled at me. Actual real smile not just gas. Might sound stupid but it hit me different. Like okay this tiny person actually sees me and recognizes me as someone good. Made all the sleepless nights feel worth it immediately.
Man that's the moment right there. Nothing compares to that first real smile. Congrats! Everything changes from this point on, she's gonna have you wrapped around her finger for life.
That's awesome! Just wait until she does it consistently and you realize she's smiling AT you on purpose. The gas smile was cute but this is something else entirely.
