Holy crap. Literally. I thought I was prepared for this. Read the books, watched the videos, felt confident. Nothing prepares you. It was everywhere. On the onesie, on the changing table, on my hand. I just stood there for a second trying to figure out where to even start. My wife was laughing at me from the doorway. Anyway I'm getting better but man that first one caught me off guard. Props to all the moms out there dealing with this multiple times a day.

Oh man, welcome to fatherhood. That first blowout is a rite of passage. I still remember mine and it was somehow worse than I expected even though I thought I was ready. You got this though.

Dude I'm three kids in and blowouts still get me sometimes. The key is to change the outfit BEFORE you pick the kid up off the changing table. Learned that the hard way and now we just keep a outfit nearby. You got this though, it gets easier I promise.

Haha yeah the videos and books don't really prepare you for the real thing do they? The smell, the amount, the places it somehow gets to. You're gonna handle way worse before you know it.

Welcome to the club man. Nothing really prepares you for that first one. I remember standing there thinking 'the books did NOT cover this level of catastrophe.' My advice: keep the diaper pail closer than you think you need it and never underestimate the distance a baby can project.

Ha yeah first time is rough. At least you're already thinking about it ahead of time. Some guys don't even look at the videos beforehand so you're already winning.

First blowout is rough. My advice: keep extra clothes everywhere. In the car, in the diaper bag, upstairs, downstairs. You'll thank me later when it happens in public.
