I know this sounds dumb but I was so scared I was going to hurt her. Those little legs looked so fragile and I couldn't figure out how to get the diaper off without fumbling around like an idiot. My wife was laughing at me the whole time. How long before this becomes second nature? Does anyone else remember being this nervous about everything?
That's totally normal man. First diaper panic is real. You're not going to break her, babies are way more durable than they look. Give it like two more times and you'll be a pro.

Doesn't sound dumb at all. I was terrified I'd hurt my daughter the first time I picked her up. The fragility thing is psychological mostly. Just go slow and you'll be fine.
YouTube has some good quick diaper change videos if it helps. Seeing someone do it step by step made me way less anxious. You've got this.
