First time changing a diaper was NOT what I expected

Dude. Nobody tells you about the projectile poop situation. I thought I was ready. I was not ready. My son managed to get it everywhere except actually in the diaper. I'm standing there covered and he's just looking at me like it's no big deal. My wife found me in the bathroom trying to figure out if I needed a whole new outfit and just laughed. This parenting thing is wild.

Honestly changing diapers gets easier way faster than you'd think. In like a week you'll be one-handing it. Just give it time and don't stress about the catastrophes.

Oh man, the projectile poop situation. I was NOT prepared for that. It's like they have a secret weapon and they deploy it without warning. Nothing in the internet videos prepares you for the actual smell either.

The confidence going in versus the reality of what actually happens is wild. First time is a learning experience for sure. Wait till you get hit with the pee fountain too.

Haha welcome to the club. I had a blowout that reached my shoulder. SHOULDER. Now I know why veterans say just use like fifteen diapers during changes.
