First time leaving baby overnight - update

So I posted like a month ago about being terrified to leave our 4-month-old with my parents overnight for the first time. We did it last weekend and honestly? It was fine. Not boring fine, but like... my wife and I actually had a real conversation without interruptions. We went to dinner, slept 8 hours straight, and didn't think about the baby for like 2 whole hours at one point (felt guilty but also amazing). Parents said he was perfect. Posting this just because I was so anxious about it and it helped to know it would actually be okay.

Did you have to pump a bunch of bottles or is your kid on formula? My wife is exclusively pumping and that's been the hold-up for us leaving overnight.

The real win here is that you slept 8 hours. I forgot what that felt like. My 4yo still doesn't let me sleep more than 6 hours at a time and she's been here for YEARS.

Wait you said your post was a month ago but you just did it last weekend? Either way glad it went well. My parents live too far away but my wife's sister is babysitting our 3-month-old next month and I'm already stressed about it.
