Honest question: when does it get easier?

My son just turned 2 months old. Everyone keeps saying "enjoy it, it goes so fast" and "it gets easier" but when?? Right now it feels like we're in a fog of constant feeding, diaper changes, and wondering if he's breathing. I love him obviously but I'm not having fun. I'm just... surviving. Does the fog lift soon or should I prepare myself for this being my life for a while?
