Is anyone else's partner just... different after having a baby?

Not in a bad way necessarily but like, my wife is completely consumed by our 5-month-old daughter. Which is beautiful and I love watching her be an amazing mom, but sometimes I miss just... being able to talk to her about normal stuff? Yesterday I tried to tell her about something that happened at work and she was just on her phone looking at baby milestone apps the whole time. When I brought it up she snapped at me. I feel like I'm just the guy who pays for stuff and changes diapers now instead of her partner. Is this temporary or is this just what we are now?
