Is bottle feeding at night vs day a thing or am I overthinking?

We're doing breast and bottle combo and my wife wants to pump at night so I can do a bottle feed and she can sleep more. I read something about it messing with supply but then I read something that said that's a myth. Anyone have experience with this? We're desperate for her to get more sleep because she's been up since the kid was born basically. Just want to do the right thing here.
