My 3mo keeps projectile vomiting after feeds - is this normal or should I be worried?

So my son is almost 3 months old and started doing this thing where he'll spit up like... violently. It's not just a little burp either, sometimes it shoots across the room. We switched to Enfamil A+ thinking maybe it was a sensitivity thing but it's still happening. Pediatrician said it's probably reflux but didn't seem super concerned. Anyone else dealt with this? Does it eventually stop or are we gonna be doing laundry 5x a day forever?

Could be reflux. If it's constant and he seems uncomfortable then yeah get it checked but a lot of babies just spit up like crazy and are totally fine. How's his weight gain?

How fast are you feeding him? If he's eating too quickly that can cause projectile vomiting. Try pacing it out more with breaks between gulps.

Pretty normal at that age actually. My son did the same thing around 2-3 months and it freaked me out. Lasted a few weeks then stopped. Still would mention it at your pediatrician appointment though just to be safe.

Mine did this and it turned out to be a minor feeding issue. Once we adjusted his position during feeds it basically stopped. Definitely worth asking the pediatrician about positioning.

The projectile part is what gets you worried but honestly most of the time it's nothing serious. They grow out of it. Just keep him propped up after feeding and have more burp cloths than you think you need.
