My baby is crying and I don't know why and I'm losing it

My 8 week old has been crying on and off all day. Not hungry, diaper is clean, not too hot or cold, I've burped him, tried different positions. He just... cries? My wife is running errands and I've got him alone and I feel like such a failure. I've walked around the house with him, rocked him, tried white noise, nothing works.

How do you guys deal with the feeling that you're doing everything wrong? Like logically I know this is normal but it's breaking me a little.
