My baby smiled at me and I cried

Not gonna lie I'm kind of a mess. My son is 6 weeks old and today he actually smiled at me intentionally. Not a gas smile, a real smile because he saw my face. Something in me just broke and I teared up. My wife caught me and I tried to play it cool but she knew. This whole thing is wild. I can't believe how much I love this little person already.

Man that's beautiful. Those early smiles hit different. Wait till he laughs for the first time, you're gonna be a complete wreck again and it's so worth it.

Dude I totally get this. My oldest is 8 now and I still remember when she first smiled at me like it was yesterday. You're doing great.
