My kid is 18 months and I'm just NOW feeling like I know what I'm doing
Just wanted to post this for the new guys out there spiraling in the newborn phase - it gets SO much easier. Like ridiculously easier. My son is almost a year and a half now and the first 6 months feel like a fever dream honestly. I was googling 'is my baby normal' like every 47 seconds and now he eats solid foods, communicates what he wants, sleeps through the night most nights, and I can actually take him places without a military-level logistics plan.
The panic you feel at 2am on day 3 of being home from the hospital? That's not permanent. You'll get there.
Thank you for this. Literally at month 3 and convinced I'm ruining my kid. This post helped more than it probably should have.
